KNOPF, Margrit - At VON Sakura House on Thursday, April 18, 2013, our loving mother Margrit Hazina Knopf (nee Meijer), 1943 - 2013. A flower pressed forever into our minds' book of memories, cherished by our hearts. A breathtaking vision of love, gentle as the whispering breeze of spring. Strong and stubbornly she weathered fierce storms that ravaged her, which took her from us too soon. She will be missed and loved always and forever, our loving mother. Survived by loving husband Rudiger A. W. Knopf, children Sabine Beaudry (Rakesh Kumar), Sonja Jackson (Warren), Wendy-Lynn Knopf (Robert Mahoney), and Ron Knopf (Tiffany), grandchildren Marina, Shaila, Emily, Teresa, Angelina Jackson, Riley Mahoney, Olivia and Aiden Knopf, brother Harry Meijer, niece Heike Janssen, and many other family members.
