Cecil G. Gracey was born September 16, 1941 to Garfield and Edith Gracey of Curries ON. He was the 7th of 8 children - Evelyn (O'Leary), Imogene (Apps), Helen (Williams), Charlie, George, David, Cecil, Donald. He was the Head of the Math Department at Huron Park Secondary School until his death from pancreatic cancer on May 27, 1987. He was the husband of Valerie J. Silverthorn, and the father of Barbara Louise and Karen Elizabeth.
