SKILLINGS, Darryl - Suddenly on Saturday August 10, 2013. Darryl James Skillings of Oxford Centre in his 49th year. Beloved husband of Leanne P (nee Hackert) Skillings for 24 years. Cherished father of Allyson Skillings (Clayton Haight) and Olivia Skillings all at home. Dear brother to: Doug Skillings (Mary) of Oxford Centre and their family Brad and Chris; Dave Skillings (Dawn Anne Hill) of Dunnville and their family Dustin and Jason. Loved son-in-law to Jim and Ruthann Flowers of Woodstock. Dear brother-in-law to Joan Skillings-Schell (Don) of Oxford Centre and their family Derek and Amanda, Steve Hackert (Jessie), Mark Hackert all of Woodstock, Ron Flowers (Rena) of Sarnia, Lynda McLean (Kirk) of Woodstock. Darryl is also survived by his many extended family members, friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Dorothy (nee Motherall) Skillings and by his brother Dan Skillings (1992). Darryl owned and operated Skillings Electric Inc. for many years and was an active member of Ontario Norton Owners. Friends will be received by the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday August 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the memorial service to celebrate Darryl's life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am.
