HALLMAN, Russell Baird - Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Russell Hallman of Plattsville in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Donna (Simonds) whom he married March 23, 1967. Dear father of David & wife Julianne of Innerkip, Laurie & husband Scott Stobo of Waterloo and Sara & husband Chris Middleton of Guelph. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Abby, Josiah, Caleb Hallman, Andrea, Emma, Matthew and Bethany Stobo, Jude and Ethan Middleton. Loving son of Isabel (Baird) Hallman of Waterloo and the late Russell C. Hallman (2005). Survived by his brother Peter and wife Linda of Kitchener and sister Ruth Hallman of Kitchener. Predeceased by his sister Susan Hallman (2003). Russell was incredibly kind and generous with a true servant's heart. He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan and loved to watch and play hockey. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Relatives & friends may call at the GLENDINNING FUNERAL HOME , 40 William Street, Plattsville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Plattsville Missionary Church on Saturday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Plattsville Evangelical Missionary Church - Missions Fund (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.
