PILKEY, Christopher Shawn - Peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, at Woodstock Hospital on Friday October 11, 2013, Chris Pilkey of Burgessville, at the age of 37, went home to be with his Lord. Loving husband of Angela. Dear father of Meghan Goodwin of Brantford. Dear son of Richard and Susan Pilkey of Burgessville. Dear brother of Carey-Sue and son Kyle of Waterdown. He will be sadly missed by his grandmothers June Lenhardt and Dorothy Pilkey, both of Burgessville. Son-in-law of Bob and Mary Lou Tompkins of Lindsay. Brother-in-law of Jeff Tompkins and wife Angela, their daughters Alaura and Caraline of Lindsay, Steven Tompkins of Sundridge. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME , 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Chris' life will be held at Faithway Baptist Church, 439 Athlone Ave., Woodstock on Saturday October 19, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastors Ken Ingram and Zad Tomberlin officiating.
