OVERHOLT, Rosa Elizabeth - Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, December 1, 2013, Rosa Elizabeth Overholt, 84 years, went home to rest in the arms of her Saviour. Beloved wife for 66 years of Murray Overholt. Adored mother of son Dan (Peg) Overholt, daughter Elaine Overholt (Glenn), daughter Valerie (Ken) Tosh and son Mark (Karen) Overholt. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Shelley, Sarah, Jim, Carla, Bethany, Owen, Alixandra, Kevin and Stephen. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Megan, Nicholas, Logan, Ethan, Ella, Caedmon, Loyalty, Phoenix, Xavier, Lucy, Paityn and Bruce. Dear twin sister of Ross (Florence) Deller and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by lifelong friend Barb Barnes. Predeceased by her parents and infant son Gary. Rosa was loved by all who knew her. She received great joy in the act of serving others selflessly and leaves a great legacy behind. When she lost the ability to speak she would still reach out a hand to all who passed by. We want to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Vision who so lovingly cared for Rosa and faithfully stayed with us to the end. A funeral service will be held to celebrate Rosa's life on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 1565 London Line, Sarnia with family and friends being received at the church for one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. The interment will take place in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Youth for Christ - www.yfcwoodstock.com (Care of Steven Deller) cheques only when donating at the funeral home please.
