HIPPERSON, Dorothy Willetta - At VON Sakura House surrounded by her daughters on Saturday December 21, 2013 in her 86th year. Loving wife of the late Lloyd D. Hipperson. Dearest mother of Karen Sewell (Joe Clark), Gail Hamilton and Lois Palmer (Kerry). Cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of eight. Loved sister of Kenneth Coleman (Pat) and dear aunt to Terry Coleman. Dorothy was a Registered Nursing Assistant and also a nurse at Woodstock General Hospital for many years. Rotary bestowed upon her the honour of being named a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of her founding the Woodstock and District Hospice, through which the Woodstock General Hospital's Palliative Care Unit became a reality. Dorothy was also a member of Faithway Baptist Church. Friends were received at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, December 22 from 2-4 p.m. where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Monday December 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. If desired memorial donations can be made to VON Sakura House, Faithway Baptist Church or Gideon Bibles.
