ENJAMIN, Anna Johanna (nee Bakker) - July 26, 1925 - December 11, 2013 - We say a sad farewell to our mom who passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 11, 2013 at the age of 88. Anna was born to Eefje and Garrit in Landsmeer, Nederland. She came to Canada as a Dutch War bride on the RMS Mauretania in February of 1946. She resided in Ingersoll, Ontario with her husband Carl Benjamin. Shortly after he passed away she moved to Nelson, BC to live near her daughter for the remainder of her life. Her and Carl spent many years travelling to Florida and throughout North America in their camper. Now they are travelling together on the other side. Beloved wife of the late Carl Benjamin (June 18, 2006). Loving Mother of Gary, Mike, Peter and Debra. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at Lakeside Rotary Park, Nelson, BC.
