VAN WYK, Willem - To our great sorrow, the Lord has taken out of our midst, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2014, Willem Van Wyk of Burgessville in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Van Wyk (nee Den Dekker). Dear father of Andy and Jacqualine Van Wyk of Burgessville, May and John Timmermans of Burgessville, Corrie and Dick Van Zeggelaar of Woodstock, Corney and Dorita Van Wyk of Salford, Bill and Melinda Van Wyk of Burgessville, Martin and Linda Van Wyk of Burgessville, Les and Christina Van Wyk of Norwich, Jeff and Sara Van Wyk of Burgessville, Edward and Marlene Van Wyk of Burgessville. Cherished Opa of 36 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Mien and Corrie in the Netherlands and 19 in-laws in Canada and the Netherlands. Predeceased by one grandchild (1985), brothers Andries, Piet, Cor, Gerrit, Ege, Jetze, Arie, Jan, Adrian, and sisters Jans, Pietje, An, Peternella and 14 in-laws. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Springford Reformed Church, Springford on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., the Lord willing, Pastor K. Veldman officiating.
