BAXTER, Glenn Irwin - At Victoria Hospital, London on February 28, 2014, Glenn Baxter of Norwich, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Velma for 57 years. Cherished dad of Ken and wife Helen of Caledon, Mark, Ricky, Don and wife Nancy, Brian and wife Mary, all of Norwich. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brandon and Blair, Christine and Jennifer, Tiffany and Ashley and Kyle. Dear brother of Don of Norwich. Survived by his aunts, uncle and cousins. Predeceased by grandsons David and Drew, parents Gordon and Gertrude Baxter. Glenn was a community minded supporter in such projects as Norwich Medical Centre, Woodstock Hospital Foundation, and the Nor-Del Arena. He was the founder of Nor-Del Cablevision in 1979. In honour of Glenn, the family has asked that everyone wear bright colours. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Glenn's life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Ted Hunt officiating.
