COOK, Bill - At the Woodstock Hospital on Monday March 3, 2014. William "Bill" J. Cook in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Pye) Cook for over 62 years. Dear father of Ken Cook and his wife Joanne, Bruce Cook and his wife Deb, Linda Takacs and her husband Ron and Barbara Jancsar and her husband Mark. Loved grandfather to fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and will be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Edith Osmond. Bill served with the RCAF during WWII and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock. Friends are invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Sunday March 9, 2014 from 7-9pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Stan Cox officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Innerkip Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated.
