FUNNELL, Marion Annie Uldene (nee Tufts) - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday, February 28, 2014 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Loraine Funnell "Chink". Dear mother of Dan and his wife April of Airdrie, Alberta, Janice Funnell of Kitchener, and Catherine Funnell of Reading, England. Loved grandmother of Andrew and his wife Helen of Edmonton, Alberta and Allison Kalmakoff and husband Chad of Calgary, Alberta. Devoted great grandma to Liam, Chloe, Declan, and Jocelyn Funnell and Liliana and Maya Kalmakoff. Loving sister of Norma McIntyre, London and Mary Tufts, St. Marys. Predeceased by three brothers Ross, Edwin and Leroy. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Marion will be sadly missed by her many friends in Woodstock. Marion was a member of Dundas Street United Church and formerly Chalmers United Church where she was a choir member for many years. She also served as president of the UCW and was a longtime member of IODE. Friends may call on the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 2:30 - 4:30 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Dundas Street United Church, Woodstock, on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00am with Rev. Bonnie Pilkey officiating. Interment following the reception at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Food Bank or charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
