Hart, Hugh (Died)

HART, Hugh - Peacefully at home on Monday, June 16, 2014 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Marion Thornton (nee Croft). Loving father of Raymond Thornton (Catherine) of Ingersoll, Lenard Thornton (Lela), Darlene Robillard (Gary), David Thornton, and Annette Thornton (Gary) all of Woodstock. Loving Papa to his 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sadly missed by his siblings Edna Williacy, Linda Ball (Jim) , Shirley MacKenzie all of Woodstock, Jean Chisholm, Mabel Bennet (Alex), Larry Hart (Jeanette), Gerald Hart (Mary), Sandra Marsh (Jackie) all of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Blanch (nee Eveligh) Hart as well as his siblings Doug, Ray, Jimmy, Alex, David, Madeline, Wallace, Ronald and Miriam. Hugh will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Hugh was a longtime dedicated employee with the City of Woodstock for many years. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, 6-8 p.m (NOTE TIME). A Liturgical service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
