SIMS, Melanie - After a courageous battle with cancer, Melanie passed away surrounded by her loving family at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll on Thursday June 19, 2014. Predeceased by father Chuck (2002) and mother Vivian Norman (1996). Melanie will be best remembered as the bubbly hairdresser in the Clip Shops, always a smile. Melanie is survived by husband Michael, sons Robert (Treena Thompson) Phillips and Charles (Tanya) Sivyer, step-daughter Christy (Johnny) Ulldrick, step-son Steven (Shawna) Sims, brothers George Norman, Ed Norman and sister Eva Rothenburg and 11 grandchildren. A service will be held Saturday June 28, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Salvation Army Church (Woodstock), followed by a Celebration of Life at the Beachville Legion.
