SMITH, Mary Irene (nee Nash) - Welcomed into the arms of her Lord, peacefully with family by her side and surrounded by love on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Beloved wife of 48 years to Gary Smith. Beloved mother of Leanne Keaney and Lori Narbey. Cherished Grandma of Madison and Mackenzie Keaney. Dear sister of Frank Nash and Margaret Davies. She was predeceased by her sister Jean. Mary was a tireless volunteer with her church and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Mary shared her light and love generously with everyone she knew and spread joy wherever she went. Friends will be received at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME 246 Thames Street South , Ingersoll Thursday 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mount Elgin United Church 324105 Mount Elgin Rd on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11am with Reverend Lynne Allin officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Elgin Cemetery. Memorial Donations in Mary's memory to Big Brothers, Big Sisters or Mount Elgin United Church (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
