STEWART, Thomas Russel "Tom" - Passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in his 81st year, after attending a retirement party near Milton, ON. During his years as a long distance truck driver, Tom acquired many, many friends and acquaintances all over North America. He was the last surviving member of his family. Tom was an avid collector of everything old, odd and unique. Cars, trucks, tractors, toys and various other items of interest to many. As a known authority on vintage autos, and a member of almost every vintage collectable club, he was often asked to provide information to hobbyists with similar interests. For more than 50 years, Tom's red, 1909 Ford Model "T" was a familiar sight in Woodstock's Victoria Day parade. Friends will be received at Old St. Paul's Anglican Church, 723 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 12 noon until 12:45p.m. A complete funeral service will follow at 1p.m. with Archdeacon Richard A. Jones officiating. A private interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to any charity of one's choice can be made through SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington St, North, Woodstock, ON (519)537-3611. Personal condolences may be sent at www.smithleroy.com.
