GILLESPIE, William Thomas - passed away suddenly on Sunday September 14, 2014 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Bill Gillespie of R.R.#2 Innerkip in his 80th year. Loving husband of Marion (nee Remington) whom he married April 2, 1955. Dear father of Gord & wife Sandy of RR#2 Innerkip, Steve & wife Flow of Woodstock, Tom & wife Natalie of Innerkip, Dave & wife Danielle of Woodstock and Larry & wife Susan of Innerkip. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jeremy & Nikki, Jennifer, Trevor, Courtney, Emma & Jimmy, Pete, Eric, Matthew & Jennifer, Kristie & Rob, Nick & Ashley, Kyle & Breann, Derek, Katie & Ross and by his great grandchildren Brooklyne, Hunter, Easton, Tynika, Jacob, Greyson, Addison and Ellia. He will also be remembered by his sister-in-law Pat Gillespie and her family of RR#1 Innerkip and by the Remington Family. Predeceased by his parents Stuart & Marion (Broome) and his brother Donald. Bill worked at the Roads Department for the Township of Blandford-Blenheim for 31 years until his retirement. A Private Family Service will be conducted at the Innerkip Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Innerkip United Church or the Lung Association (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.
