Strickler, Randle James “Randy” - Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital, on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Randy was in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Donna (nee Weir) for 50 years. Beloved father of Karen Murray (David), Jeff (Cathy), and Brad (Cindy). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Justin, Kristen, and Richard Murray; Nick, Cameron, Devon and Sharon Strickler. Lovingly remembered by his brother William (Ruth-Anne). Survived by many nieces and nephews. For many years Randy was employed with the Oxford Shopping News, was a former constable with the Woodstock Police from 1964-1967, a Sheriff’s officer for the county of Oxford. He also served as coach and assistant coach with the Woodstock Minor Hockey Association for many years. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LEROY FUNERAL HOME 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A private family service to follow.
