BIERMA, Leo Fred - Peacefully, after a brief but very determined struggle at University Hospital, London on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Leo Bierma, of Cathcart in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Moira Ferguson. Loving son of Min & the late Hessel Bierma. Dear brother of Marg & Wendell Johnson, Liz & Jeff McCrea and sister-in-law Karen Bierma. Predeceased by his brother Fred Bierma. Leo will be sadly missed by his stepsons, nieces, nephews, family and many friends. A private family service was held at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME , 134 King Street, Burford. A time of remembrance and celebration for friends and family will be held on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at the Burford Ag Hall, 6 Park Ave, Burford from 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations in Leo’s memory may be made to Arts after School Kids or Crossing all Bridges Learning Centre.
