WETTLAUFER, Ruby - Ruby Ida Wettlaufer, 88, of Hickson passed away in Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, December 29, 2014. She was born in West Zorra Township, Oxford County on July 9, 1926 a daughter of the late Gordon and Anne (Pye) Howe. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Orland Ezra "Shorty" Wettlaufer; her son-Iaw, Lloyd G. Kalbfleisch; her brother, Bev Howe; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lloyd Wettlaufer, Verda and Don Carey, Wayne and June Wettlaufer, Lynn and Pearl Wettlaufer, Margaret and Glen Pallister. She is survived by her children, Iris and husband Peter Dale, Michael Wettlaufer and Tracey Kalbfleisch; ten grandchildren, Sandra Dale, Paul and Lisa Dale, Kirk and Tara Dale, Steve Wettlaufer and Carin Headrick, Brad Wettlaufer, Rachel and Rhyan Scott, Larry and Kate Kalbfleisch, Kevin and Stacey Kalbfleisch, Brian and Jill Kalbfleisch, Lori and Tom Dufton; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Bob and wife Linda Howe, Fred and wife Norma Howe; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Harold and Donna Wettlaufer and Lila Wettlaufer. A service to celebrate the life of Ruby will be held at Christ Church, Huntingford on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. Rev. Chris Travers will officiate. Interment in Christ Church Cemetery. Reception following. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Christ Church, Huntingford or Hickson Firefighters would be appreciated and may be made through the FRANCIS FUNERAL HOME , Box 208, Tavistock.
