BIRTCH, Yvonne Maxine - Peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, Mom slipped into the arms of Jesus and went on her final journey home. She was sure in her faith and showed us all the way to live and was deeply committed to caring for others. It was never about the big gesture, but always about what could she do to brighten a day or lighten a load. She was a loving wife and helpmate to Robert Birtch, partnering with him on his journey from being a farmer to becoming a minister and all the moves and adventures that entailed. Mom was a concert pianist, a choir director, who loved to sing and share her passion for music. She listened, counselled, and was an ardent cheerleader for her children and their families. She was a beautiful soul. We knew we were constantly and lovingly upheld in prayer. There is never a good time to write these final words honouring our much loved Mom. One more cuppa with her, one more I love you, but knowing we are so very blessed and thankful to have had her in our lives.
