GUTHRIE, Norman Wallace - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Friday, February 13, 2015 a week before his 81st birthday. Loving husband of Pearl Guthrie. Cherished father of Terry (Tracy) Guthrie of Huntington Beach, California, Mike (Wendy) Guthrie of Orillia, Lisa (Scot) Browne of Simcoe, and Leanne (Bill) Van Iderstine of Barrie. Proud grandpa (Gump) of Megan Browne, Jeff Browne, Gillian Van Iderstine, Shawn Guthrie, Nathan Van Iderstine, Spencer Guthrie, Brian Guthrie and honorary granddaughter Paris Brennan. Great-grandpa to Logan Browne. Norman is also survived by his brother Keith Irwin. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 4 o’clock p.m. in the Chapel with visitation one hour prior.
