MAGASHAZI, John - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Woodingford Lodge on July 28th, 2015, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Rosa Magashazi (nee Konigshofer) 2014. Dear father of the late Erika Simonato (1995) and her late husband Franco (2007). Loved Opa of Anita Goodman and her husband John, Adrian Simonato and his wife Stephanie and Frank Simonato and his life partner Kelli Taylor. Cherished great grandfather of Alexander. Survived by his sister Julie Konigshofer as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister and brother. John taught woodworking at Woodstock Collegiate Institute for over 20 years and was a master of cabinetry, furniture and instrument making. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday July 31st, 2015 after 12:30 pm where the funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm.
