Krug, Beatrice (Died)

KRUG, Beatrice - After a long struggle with dementia, Beatrice passed away on November 8, 2015. Born Beatrice Katherine Kaufman on September 27, 1922, she was the daughter of Andrew "Pat" and Ida (Heltcher) Kaufman. On September 27, 1947, she married Robert Krug. For over 40 years the couple owned and operated the Krug Funeral Home and Krug Furniture Store in Tavistock. Bob died in 1990. Beatrice continued on, celebrating 50 years in the funeral business when she retired. Beatrice is survived by her daughter Sherrill and husband Alan Calder of Tavistock. Visitation will be in the West Room of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sebastopol on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the church starting at 2 p.m. The Rev. Richard P. Brown will officiate. Beatrice loved her family, her friends, her church and her community. She had a long life and one well lived.
