McLAREN, Lucy Gertrude (Killing) - Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on January 9th, 2016, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Reg McLaren (1988). Loving Mother to Pat Woods (David) and Peg Patten (John). Cherished Grandmother to Mark (Lesley) Woods, Janice (Michael) Del Bel Belluz, Brooke (Bob) Haggith, Jarred (Emily) Patten; Great-Grandmother to Shannon and Jack Woods, Alexandra and Tyler Del Bel Belluz and Hailey Patten. Lucy was the last surviving member of her family: predeceased by her sisters, Frances (Gord) MacDonald, Marion (Don) Smith, Freida (Mervin) Zehr; her brothers, Henry (Hazel) Killing, Jack (Ruby) Killing, Russell Killing, Ted (Barbara) Killing; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack (Doris) McLaren, and May Fincham; her nephews Asa Fishback, Bob McLaren, John Killing and Don MacDonald. Aunt Lucy will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Friends will be received at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 Tuesday January 12th, 2016 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 13th, 2016 at 1 pm. Interment later, at Anglican Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
