WESTRA, David - Surrounded by the love of his family at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Thursday February 11, 2016 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Sophie S. (nee Brouwer) Westra (2010). Dear father of Tina (Don) Boogerman, Ann (Joe) Kish and Ken Westra. Loved grandfather of Jason (Giulia) Boogerman, Amanda Boogerman, Michael Kish, Josh Kish, Ashley (Nic Dona) Westra, David Westra and great grandfather of Jenna and Isla. Dear brother to Elsie (Walter Kirk) Westra, Rika Himmelman, John (Sylvie) Westra and will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sisters; Jenny Pletch and Dorothy Bone and by his brothers Andy Westra and Hank Westra. Friends and relatives were invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday February 14, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00pm, where the funeral service was held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am.
