BICKNELL, Lance A. - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital surrounded by his loving family on June 12th, 2016 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Janice Bicknell (nee Johnson). Loving father of Arthur (Brenda) Bicknell and Peggy (Chris) Fraczek. Cherished grandfather to William, Nathan, Dylan, Haley and Callie. Dear brother of Barbara Bicknell and several nieces and nephews. Lance was a long time member of the Masons, Oxford Lodge No. 76 and also the Woodstock Lodge of Perfection. Lance was retired from the Federal Government Employment office and then drove school bus for Elgie and Langs Bus Lines. Lance was also a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served from 1958 - 1966 as a Communications Technician during the Cold War. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock - 519-539-0004 on Saturday June 18th, 2016 at 10:00am where a service will take place in the chapel at 11:00am.
