MARPLE, JoAnne - Passed away Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the age of 78. Beloved mother of Joan Skillings-Schell (Don), Steve DeRudder & Julie Tierney (Steve). Loving grandmother of Tony, Derek (Tabitha), Cassie, Amanda, Bethan, Gwennan & Daron and great grandmother of Dillon, Brodie & Hayley. Survived by her siblings Jan (Jane), Harry (Joanne), Bill (Penny), John (Linda), Andy (Marlene), Lambert, Ted (Carol) & Marina (John). Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by her parents Lambert and Hendrika VanDer Vleuten (nee Scheepers), her first husband Mike DeRudder, second husband Kenneth Marple, son Mike and her sister Elizabeth. The family will receive friends at the SMITH-LEROY FUNERAL HOME 69 Wellington St. N., Woodstock on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 p.m. (NOTE TIME). A complete Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, 11 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock with Fr. Rick Dales as celebrant. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at a later date in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford.
