ROSS, Elva Madeline (née Aspden) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Madeline Ross of RR#1 Bright in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Allen R. Ross who predeceased her May 29, 2004. Loving mother of Larry & wife Sharon of RR#1 Bright, Gerry & wife Mary Lou of RR#1 Tavistock and Donald & wife Emily of Woodstock. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Daryl & Nicole, Dale & Teresa, Jennifer & Maggie, Amy, Megan, Sara & Dejan, Rebecca and by great-grandchildren Joe & Natalie, Makayla, Dylan, Lauren, Shelby, Alyssa, Alex, Grace, Arya and Graham. Survived by her brother Jim Aspden of Woodstock, by sisters-in-law Marjorie Birtch, Jean Holland, Doreen Aspden all of Woodstock and Nancy Ross of St. Thomas. Madeline and Allen farmed on the 16th line from 1956. Madeline was a member of the Hebron United Church and had enjoyed knitting and quilting over the years. Predeceased by her great-granddaughter Brianna. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering at the Hebron United Church on Sunday October 30, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m. A private family burial has taken place at Innerkip Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
