VELDHUIZEN, Jennie - To our deep sorrow, it has pleased the Lord, to take out of our midst, after a brief illness, my beloved wife, our caring mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt at the age of 81, on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Beloved wife of John for 53 years. Loving mother of John and Jane, and Henk and Petra Veldhuizen. Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Richard and Aline, Karen, Alyssa and friend Darren, Rianne, Sharon, Rachel, Leanna, Esther, Derek, William and Nelina Veldhuizen. Jennie will be dearly missed by her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her brother Marty, brothers-in-law Albertus and Evert and sisters-in-law Betty and Jannie. Family and friends will be received at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION, 43 Main Street East, Norwich, ON, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7- 9 p.m. and Thursday 9 - 9:45 a.m. Funeral service will be held at the church at 10 a.m., D.V., Reverend E. Hakvoort officiating. Interment at the Norwich Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jennie, can be made to the Bethany Care Home of Norwich.
