VELDMAN, Mary C. (nee Van Aaken) - Jesus welcomed another gem of an angel on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 in her 81st year. She was surrounded by her family, as she peacefully journeyed to reunite with her husband Andy (2016) and son Jim (1994) and her other family members who departed before her. Beloved Mother-in-law of Joan (nee McMillan) and Oma to Jason and Justin. Loving mother of Steven and Carol (nee Robinson) and Oma to Michelle, Chris, Mike and Chad. Loving mother of Mary-Ellen and Jim Zegers and Oma to Krista, Kevin and Katie. Loving mother of Dan and Glynis (nee Rempel) and Oma to Josh, Megan, Ben and Kayla. Very proud Great-Oma to 15 lucky children. Mary is survived by three sisters and two brothers and will be missed by her brother and sisters-in law, and many nieces and nephews, all in Holland. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), where there will be no formal receiving line, on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 from 6-8 pm and at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Friday November 4th, 2016 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am where the funeral service will follow with Father Richard Dales officiating.
