VERNOOY, Mary (nee DeJong) - Peacefully, at Sakura House Woodstock on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in her 70th year. Beloved wife to John; loved mom to Donna Ross (Chris) Mike (MaryAnn), Jason (Tracey) and Dan; cherished Oma to Madison, Taylor, Matthew and Jordan; Dear sister to the late Jack, John (Sharon), Trudy Huber (the late Ross), Hennie Terpstra (the late Ben), Catherine Terpstra (the late Charlie), Lia Snell, Peter (Joanne), Bill (Kim), Rick (Karen), Clarence (Sandy), and Steve (Marie) and sister-in-law to Nick (Betty) Vernooy, Corrie (Bill) Vink, Bill (Pat) Vernooy, Betsy (Terry) Coleman, Joe (Joze) Vernooy, Jim Vernooy, Ted (Annie), Linda Vernooy and Jack Van Nes. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her in- laws Anne (Harry) Van Gerwen, Teresa Van Nes, Mary De Jeu, Fr. Paul Vernooy, Peter Vernooy and Cora Vernooy Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart RC Church (17 Washington St. Paris) on Tuesday at 11:00 AM Fr. Michael Bennett celebrant. Family Interment Drumbo Cemetery.
