PELLOW, John Robert - “He wasn’t good with words and didn’t put his love on display loudly, but it was there. Quiet, steady and true. It showed in the things which he did and didn’t do.” -John Mark Green- It's with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of the most loved husband, dad and papa. John Robert Pellow was born June 10, 1950 to the late Russel and Margaret Pellow and passed away surrounded by the love of “his girls” on February 22, 2017 at the age of 66. Dad would say that his greatest accomplishment in life was his family. He married the love of his life Darlene (Ficht) and raised three daughters Angela Herman, Sherri (Tim) deVries and Tanya (Jay) Onishenko. He was a very proud papa to six grandchildren Jessica, Megan, Michael, Noah, Ryan and Nathan. He will be greatly missed by siblings Alice (late Joe) Pember, Ernie (late Dee) Pellow, Shirley and Gary Skillings, Yvonne (Mike) Weiler and the late Jim Pellow and late Joanne Pellow. Remembered fondly by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins. There will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of an amazing life will take place Tuesday February 28th, 2017, from 2-4pm at the Sally Creek Bistro, 190 Fairway Road, Woodstock, ON. 519-533-6466. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice and may be arranged through the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, ON. 519-539-0004
