Sweazey, Howard Freeman (Died)

SWEAZEY, Howard Freeman - Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday May 17th, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Ethel (nee Arthur) Sweazey for over 63 years. Loving father of Glenn (Cate Hachigian) Sweazey, Robin (Sandy Durward) Sweazey, Lynn Thomas (Bessie) Sweazey, John (Joanne) Sweazey, Janice (Tom) Sweazey Fischer, James (Shelley Milos) Sweazey and Mark (Barb) Sweazey. Cherished grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Kay (late Jack) Vigar, Carm (Darlene) Sweazey and brother-in-law of Shirley Sweazey. He will be missed by his many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his sister Darlene Wells and his brother Don Sweazey. Howard was a long time member of College Ave. United Church, St. John’s Masonic Lodge # 104, served on the Board of Directors of the Red Cross Woodstock, was a past member of Lions International and a Charter member of the Norwich Curling Club. Friends are welcome to join the family at BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 23, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:30pm. Interment later in the Norwich Cemetery.
