BLAIR, Jane "Jean" C. - Passed away with her loving family by her side at the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock and formerly of Embro on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" D. Blair for nearly 67 years. Dear mother to Glen and his wife June Odlum-Blair, Bruce and his wife Kelly and Jane Blair and her husband Dean Selwyn. Loved grandmother of Nicole, Mitchell (Jessica), Melissa, Matthew (Lindsey), Ryan (Casey), Michael (Sara), Evan, Jessie, Jackie and great-grandmother to Dominic and Jillian. Loving sister of Donna Rowe and her husband Cecil and is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Jean was a longtime member of Knox United Church, Embro and a dedicated member of the UCW at Knox United Church. Predeceased by her sister Christine Piett and by her brother George Matheson. Friends and relatives were invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2 - 5 p.m. A celebration service in remembrance of Jean will take place at Knox United Church, Embro on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrea Allan officiating. Interment will have taken place in the North Embro Cemetery.
