SMITH, Russell Joseph - It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing on Monday September 11, 2017 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Russell Smith of Courtland in his 70th year. Russell will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cathy, his daughters Angela (Stephane) Andine-Allard, Kimberly (Mostafa) Rikhtegarzadeh and Mary Smith. Russell will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Mahmood, Skylar and Samuel, by his mother Ruby, his brothers Wayne, Larry, Gary, Marty and his sister Nancy Brett. Predeceased by his father Ross Smith, twin brother Ronald and granddaughter Natasha. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Courtland on Friday September 15, 2017 at 10:00am. A Celebration of Russell’s life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 2–4 pm at the Ingersoll Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be sent at www.gffh.ca.
