STOCK, Robert H. - Robert Henry Stock, 78, of R.R. 1, Bright, passed away in Stratford General Hospital, with family by his side, on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Robert was born in East Zorra Township, Oxford County on February 9, 1939 a son of the late Edward and Mary (Rudy) Stock. He had been a custodian at Hickson Public School for 29 years; was a member of Tavistock Rod & Gun Club and a member of Hebron United Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Sandra Elizabeth Becker whom he married on August 7, 1965; two children, Bobbi Lee Dykeman of Stratford, Brad and wife Pam Stock of Tavistock; five grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Cameron, Cole and Morgan; his brother, James and wife Helen Stock of Woodstock; his sister-in-law, Betty Stock of Hickson; "Becker" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Pearl Becker, Ron and Judy Becker, Connie and Barry Rogers, Karen and Wayne Glandfield and Sharon Hall; several nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Stock; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Hester and Harry Zimmerman, Jean and Alex Wilks; his sister-in-law Barbara Kent and his brother-in-law, Charles Kent. A private graveside service was held at East Zorra 17th line E.U.B. Cemetery. The Rev. David Duncan officiated. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Tavistock Legion Hall, 223 Hope Street West, Tavistock on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5 - 9 p.m. for a casual time of fellowship and to share memories of Robert's life.
