LICHTI, Lincoln - Lincoln Leonard Lichti, 89, of Tavistock, passed away peacefully with family by his side at VON Sakura Hospice, Woodstock on Thursday, October 26, 2017. He was born in East Zorra Township, Oxford County on July 15, 1928 a son of the late John and Barbara (Bender) Lichti. Lincoln had farmed in East Zorra Township until moving to Tavistock in 1979. He was a member of Tavistock Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Maryann Zehr whom he married on July 30, 1947; three sons, John Lichti, Larry and wife Marilyn Lichti, Richard and wife Nancy Lichti, all of Tavistock; four grandchildren, Jason Lichti and friend Julie, Adam Lichti and friend Michelle, Eric Lichti, Jenna Lichti and friend Jacob; his sister, Leona Bender; his brother Elory Lichti; sisters-in-law, Emmalene Lichti, Geneva Lichti, Mildred Lichti; "Zehr brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law," Harold and Violet May Erb, Walter and Clara Zehr. He was predeceased by brothers, Elmon Lichti, Stanley Lichti, Mervin Lichti and Kenneth Lichti; sisters-in-law, Erma Lichti and Lorettea Lichti and brother-in-law, Mervin Bender. Relatives and friends will be received in the FRANCIS FUNERAL HOME , 77 Woodstock Street, North, Tavistock on Saturday from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. The service will be held in Tavistock Mennonite Church on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. The Rev. James Brown will officiate. Interment in East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th line. Reception following.
