McEWEN, Shirley Joan (Baker) - With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Shirley JOAN (Baker) McEwen on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at VON Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario, after a hard fought battle with Cancer. Beloved wife of the late Donald McEwen (2009). Cherished Mother of Bob Rundle (Karen) of Woodstock, Barb Newhouse of Dominican Republic, and Mike Rundle (Sandra) of Aurora. Stepmother of Randy of Oshawa, Doug and Lori of London. Much loved Grandma to Brandon (Robyn), Kristen (Todd), Katie (Adam), Nolan, Tyler, Samantha and Colin. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Baker and brother-in-law Nester Kozey. Predeceased by brothers James (Lorene) Baker and Glen Baker, sisters Margaret (Howard) Vance, Bessie (Bill) Schermerhorn, Mary (Jim) Buchan, Ruth (Russ) Capling, Jean Kozey and Marjorie (Lorne) Hamel and by brother-in-law Gordon Davies. Relatives and friends may call at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME , 246 Thames Street, S. Ingersoll on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 2:00 PM TO 4:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Masonic Hall, 10 Thames St., S. Ingersoll immediately following the service. Interment to follow at Chesterfield Cemetery.
