DE GRAAF, John - On Thursday, December 14th, 2017 we lost another link in our chain. John is now at peace and out of pain with his son Ryan. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 39 years, Ruthie. A loving father to Sarah and her husband Randy, who was like another son to him. A very proud hockey Opa to his grandbabies Owen, Christopher and Brianna. He was at every game. Survived by brother Henry (Sally) and sister Patricia, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and sister Betty. John enjoyed life. He loved watching birds and wildlife and relaxing in the garage or backyard with the "odd" beer. There will be a graveside service at the Oxford Centre Pioneer Cemetery on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at 12:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Oxford Centre Community Hall from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. If desired, memorial donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Kidney Research) or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters and may be arranged through the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004).
