BUCHNER, H. Minnie - Peacefully at her residence on Monday September 24, 2018. Harmanna “Minnie” (nee Sey) Buchner of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock and formerly of Devonshire Ave., Woodstock in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Buchner (1980). Dear mother of Dianne (Peter) Allcock and Joanne (Larry) Frank. Loving grandmother of Chris (Crystal) Allcock, Brian Allcock, Allan (Tara) Van de Byl, Amy (Christian) Mallet and great grandmother of Taylor, Sophie, Avery, Brendan, Coty, Hunter, Brooklyn, Kaylee, Sierra and Logan. Dear sister-in-law of Harold “Butch” Long. Predeceased by her sisters Carol Ann Long (1995) and Mary (Domonic) Bortolotto (2015). Minnie was a long-time member of the Navy Club, Royal Canadian Legion Br# 55, Woodstock, Royal Canadian Legion Br # 495, Embro and was an avid golfer at Craigowan Golf and Country Club. Friends are invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday September 26, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Woodingford Lodge – Music for Memories program would be appreciated.
