Neil, Emma (née Miller) (Died)

NEIL, Emma (nee Miller) - Passed away peacefully in her 90th year, surrounded by family, at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, on Monday, June 25, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Easton Neil (2005). Loving mother to Linda (Doug) Daley and Jim (Nancy) Neil. Cherished grandmother to Brendan (Kristina) Daley and to Meghan (Jeff) Deimling. Nana to great grandchildren Iben, Sønnich, Liv, Payton and Olivia. Emma was predeceased by her brothers Henry, Alex, David and Rein and sister Leah. She is survived by her sisters Freida, Martha and Leona all of Saskatchewan. Emma was an active member of College Avenue Church in Woodstock for many years and fondly recalled her many friends and activities there. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was a volunteer at the Woodstock General Hospital which she found to be very rewarding. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME in Woodstock on Thursday October 4th, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a reception. Internment will take place following the reception at the Hillview Cemetery.
