Payne, Donna Mary (née O'Bright) (Died)

PAYNE, Donna Mary (nee O’Bright) - Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday February 14, 2019. Her devotion to her family, and her firm belief in God, gives us solace that she is now together with her Saviour, as well as her mother Gertrude, father Harold, and siblings Harold Jr, Bob, Bill, Pat, and Sandra. Donna is survived by her brothers Jack, Doug and her sisters Jean and Margaret, as well as her children Deborah, Leslie, Stephanie, John and Rebecca. Donna will be greatly missed by all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces. Of note, is her granddaughter, Jennifer who Donna always held a very special relationship with. Donna will be treasured and remembered always as someone who loved spending time with her family and friends. Donna enjoyed travelling, she loved swimming and reading. Playing cards was one of her favourite pastimes and she was an especially accomplished and feared euchre player. Donna also looked forward to attending church service on Sunday mornings at St. David's United Church in Woodstock. A private family Celebration will be held in the Spring. Due to Donna's selfless nature, she took great happiness in others comfort. In lieu of flowers or donations, please treat yourself or someone you love to something small in Donna’s honour. The family would like to thank the staff at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock for the special care and kindness that they provided Donna during her stay.
