It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and sister on April 30, 2019 at the age of 92 years.

She was born in Wallace Township to Garfield and Sadie Salter. She had 1 sister and 5 brothers. She married Cecil Beggs in 1946 and after farming for 3 years near Millbank, moved to Bennington, Ontario where she lived until her passing. She loved her family and friends and she loved old time music. Dancing was her passion and she was still going to 2 or 3 dances a week right to the end.

Helen will be forever missed but never forgotten and was the loved mother of Marion (Wally) , Elaine (Ed) and Doug (Coleen).

Loving grandmother of Kristy (Derek), Deanna (Mark), Jesse (Lindsay), Marcia and Ashley and great grandmother of Sadie, Colm, Tess, Moses, Jace, Darby and Connley. She is survived by one brother Clayton Salter of Molesworth as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Cecil in 2009 and by her sister Muriel and 4 brothers Orval, Delbert, Ken and Glen.

A visitation will be held at the W.G. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Stratford on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 2 - 4 PM and from 6 - 8 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Knox United Church in Embro on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM.

Special thanks to Heritage Funeral Home in Palmerston for their handling of the funeral arrangements.
