Peacefully, on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the age of 100 years, Jessie Haskell.
Beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph Wallace Haskell. Loving mother of John and Joan Haskell. Daughter of the late Agnes and John King. Eldest sister of the late Clarence (the late Gladys) King, the late Eleanor (the late Donald) Overland, Nancy (the late Murray) Robinson and Andrew (Ruth) King. Jessie is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In 1941, she became a Registered Nurse after training and completing examinations at the Guelph General Hospital. In 1949, married and having moved to Norwich, she and Dr. Haskell served the community through their Veterinary Practice for the next 28 years.
Jessie was a proud member of the Eastern Star and the Norwich United Church.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to the ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, Norwich, Ontario 519-863-3020.
