Wist, Ruth (née Wilson) (Died)

Passed away at the age of 84, on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Ruth is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her brother-in-law Michael Wist. Ruth was the youngest and last of the family of Robert S. and Isobel Wilson. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (Sonny) Wist (2006); three brothers James, William and Robert J. (Betty) and sisters Phyllis (Dewart) Patchett, Doris (William) Bothwell, Mary Jane (Robert) Elder and Betty (Roy) Arn and special nephew Wally Orth, brother-in-law Adam (Audrey) Wist and sister-in-law Betty Wist. Born and raised in Norwich Township, Graduate of Norwich District High School, working in offices of Dominion Rubber Co. of Kitchener; West, Taylor and Bickle (Broom factory), of Norwich; Moore's seeds, of Norwich and Wilson & Wist Carpentry, of Norwich until her retirement in 1995. As Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Interment at the Norwich Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ruth, may be made to the Sakura House or Victoria Quilts.
