Of St. Thomas, passed away surrounded by her family and friends, at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, October 3, 2019, in her 54th year. Beloved wife of Stephen B. "Steve" Tierney. Dearly loved mother of Anthony "Tony" Silva, Amy McKinnon (Cam), Matthew Tierney, and Brodie Tierney (Sean). Proud grandmother of Greysen. Dear sister of Steve De Rudder, Joan Skillings-Schell (Don), and the late Michael De Rudder (Louise) (2012). Loving friend of Lisa (Ken), Debbie (Pete), and Kerry (Rob). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her dogs Molly, Kiah, and Emma. Born in Woodstock, ON, November 21, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Michael De Rudder and the late JoAnne (née VanDer Vleuten) Marple. Julie was an employee of OE Canada, London. Relatives and friends were received by the family at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Monday, October 7th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 20 Morrison Dr., St. Thomas on Tuesday, October 8th at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
