It saddens our hearts to announce the unexpected passing of Lorraine Gillett in her 85th year on May 8, 2020.

She will be deeply missed by her children Stephen and Deb Gillett of Woodstock, Scott and Karen Gillett of Burlington, and Heather and Gary Haggett of Cambridge. She was the devoted and cherished Grammy of Sara and Samuel Haggett, both of Cambridge. Dearly loved sister of Doreen Courts, and sister-in-law of Norman Courts, Gordon Rodwell and Ivy Ingold.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her dearly loved husband Stanley Gillett, her best friend and mother Violet Miller, her stepfather Kenneth Miller, her sister Esther Rodwell, and her brothers LeRoy and Samuel Ingold.

Lorraine was a resident of St. Andrew's Terrace in Cambridge where she sang in the choir, performed with the chimes, played bingo, put together puzzles, played euchre, loved movie night, and enjoyed many other social activities and outings. She enjoyed her time there with her many wonderful friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone at St. Andrew's Terrace as well as her friends and neighbours from Cambridge, Golspie, and Woodstock.
