JAMIESON, Betty Lou "Betty Boop"

Passed away peacefully at her home with her dear friend "Bingers" by her side in her 80th (20th) year. Beloved mother of Robyne (Tom) Pollen, Mary Ellen Speers, Patty (William Landry) Speers, Joe Speers and Jerry (Mary Anne) Speers. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Patricia (Bill) Titchner and brother Gary (Gus) Jamieson. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Eleanor (nee Simon) Jamieson, her sister Beverly Jamieson Speers, and her son Kenny Speers. Betty was from Oneida First Nation, and a longtime member of the Moose Family Centre and will always be remembered for her years of caring service at The Piccadilly Restaurant and Ms. Woodstock Restaurant. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 642 Dundas Street, Woodstock on the 25th of July from 1 - 3 pm. Interment will take at the Elm St. Cemetery in St. Thomas. If desired, memorial contributions to the Oxford County Animal Rescue would be appreciated and may be arranged through the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
