February 11, 1936 - November 22, 2020

Born in Tayport, Fife, Scotland , Jan passed away as gently as the softly falling snow at Woodstock General Hospital.

Jan was predeceased by her loving husband, Joe (2017), parents Robert and Mary, brother, Jim Walker and son-in-law Lloyd Moyer. Jan will be greatly missed by her daughters, Una Morris of Simcoe and Joanne Potts (Edwin) of Woodstock, plus five granddaughters, one grandson, twelve great grandchildren, brother Sandy Walker (Nancy) and sister Ruth Cripps (Nigel) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jan moved to England at the age of eleven where she met her future husband on a blind date at age 16. They married in July 1954. In 1965 Jan, Joe and their young daughters immigrated to Canada where they settled in Brantford. Jan lived and worked there until retiring to the Woodstock area.

Some of Jan's many passions included camping, singing, knitting, gardening and travelling including many winters spent in Florida and Cuba. Jan and Joe even took a trip to Australia. Jan also always loved to have a good natter over a cup of tea.

Cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when we can gather safely.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Woodstock General Hospital or a charity of your choice.
